We are proud to have the City of London Academy included in the new publication 100 UK CLT Projects, 'a study of the 100 of the most significant buildings constructed from CLT in the United Kingdom over the past 15 years.'
The Academy, completed in 2010, makes extensive use of Cross Laminated Timber, is organised around an internal atrium, and deploys a wide range of sustainable technologies in use, such as green roofs, photovoltaic cells and a biomass boiler.
The book is co-authored by Andrew Waugh and Anthony Thistleton of Waugh Thistleton Architects, and can be downloaded on registration here.
