Design for Sustainability
A major mixed-use regeneration of a 6Ha urban site owned by Jarrold & Sons, located along the northern banks of river Wensum within the shadows of Norwich's famous medieval Cathedral.
A key objective of the master plan was to stitch the former industrial site back into the fabric of the city and encourage a new permeability, previously obstructed a series of ageing industrial buildings.
The development will include over 32,000sqm / 345,000sqft of high quality offices, a 180 bed hotel, 200 residential units, shops, a printing museum and sports facilities.
Buildings D1, with a BREEAM 'Excellent' rating, and D2 have so far been completed and occupied by DEFRA and the Broads Authority.
