Andrew Murdoch MA RIBA
Chairman - Middle East

Andrew is Chairman of the Middle East operations of the Aukett Swanke Group. His primary role is high level business development.

Andrew has an extensive architectural career and has a particular expertise in within the retail sector and in the adaptive reuse of existing buildings and Listed buildings to transform them for commercial reuse. He has considerable experience in negotiating valuable retail planning consents in sensitive locations and has a passion for large, mixed-use urban regeneration projects.

He is an in-house champion of our clients’ interests, in understanding our clients’ commercial objectives and advocating creative design solutions within the studio.

Andrew sat on the British Council for Offices Board of Management for 12 years and regularly chairs design reviews of recent office buildings for the BCO.
