Nicholas de Klerk BScArch(UCL) BArch(W’rand) ARB RIBA
Nicholas is a thoughtful and forward thinking architect who has worked in the UK, UAE and South Africa on retail, office, mixed use, hospitality and culture and heritage projects.
His work is now primarily focussed on hospitality design. He leads on a number of the practice’s projects in this sector which include country house and urban boutique-style hotels as well as regeneration-led schemes in London and other UK cities. He regularly assists clients in identifying development opportunities, connecting the various stakeholders and undertaking design viability studies that can unlock a site’s potential.
Nicholas writes widely on architecture, design and hospitality for both trade and design titles and is a regular speaker / participant in industry conferences and roundtables.
He also participates in teaching and mentoring, both within and outside the studio, most recently with the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust and the London School of Architecture.
