News > Tom Alexander on Economist Radio
On Oct 10 2019 UK Studios Director Tom Alexander was interviewed by journalist James Fransham of The Economist for their Radio Podcast about the new ways we can and want to work, how we design environments to enable and enhance this demand with wellbeing as a priority, and the use of agile and sustainable architectural innovations, and technology for happier more productive teams.
The interview was part of a wider investigation into the workplace evolution taking place to attract and retain talent, and included contributions from 100 Bishop’s Gate developer Sir Stuart Lipton and Well Certificate advocate Despina Katsikakis of Cushman and Wakefield. The podcast is due out this December.
This was a follow-up to up a previous interview with James, Tom and fellow director Luke Schuberth to run through our R+D explorations into the design influences places of work and learning are having on one another, which led to our Work/Learn/Live/Play Chassis project. We also presented our wide range of exploratory workplace designs, discussed within the context of the current market needs, challenges and opportunities.
