We are a people-orientated practice working within a collaborative studio ethos whereby we nurture the talent and skills of our employees to reach their full potential.

Our career path has opportunities for career growth and promotion through design, technical focus, management, specialism and project delivery avenues.

Our Studio

Aukett Swanke is based in London’s Shoreditch in a studio building shared by a community of designers and construction professionals.

With studio spaces spread across three levels, and two floors of communal meeting and social spaces, the building actively supports our collaborative and collegiate design culture.

Alongside this, a programme of events including masterclasses, open presentation sessions, CPDs, weekly staff breakfasts and studio updates encourages communication and open dialogue.

Our Culture

The studio has a long heritage of innovation and is part of an international network of designers working across Europe and the Middle East. Working in our studios invites you bring your talents and ideas to the collective endeavour of crafting a new chapter of that story.

Research and development forms a fundamental part of our design process as we look forward to creating a new generation of buildings and spaces that respond to changing ways of working, living and socialising in a warming world that is increasingly resource scarce.

Blended design is our way of creating super-dense, hybridised buildings and spaces that are highly flexible, long-life and loose fit and that are ready to meet these challenges. Out studio design culture actively supports this goal.

Career Progression

We support designers and architects to become fully rounded professionals, at all stages of their careers. Each year we offer year-out placements to Part I Students and career opportunities to Part II students, graduates and interior designers, where you will gain excellent experience and opportunities from our knowledgeable and talented team.

Our graduate programme also provides financial bursaries and CPD support to assist progression to RIBA Part III architectural or equivalent professional qualifications. Our career path has opportunities for career growth and promotion through design, technical focus, management, specialism and project delivery avenues.
