Aukett Swanke present the People + Planet Award at Loughborough University School of Architecture!
Our relationship with the University continues since we completed their Engineering Faculty building, The Centre for Collaborative Construction Research, in 2006.
Following the success of the Aukett Swanke-sponsored People + Planet Award last year, we again met with students this year to review their work and select the project that best demonstrates environmental sustainability, social sustainability and social transformation at its core.
Oliver Roffe - winner of the Aukett Swanke People+Planet Award 2023
Congratulations to this year’s winner Oliver Roffe, a graduating third year student, whose project sought to change the public’s relationship with waste materials, creating a public facing recycling centre and used materials library, that seeks to enable a move towards a circular economy on a more macro society scale.
