The Wilde brand is Staycity’s premium brand and provides high quality 4* accommodation. The key brand pillars are being sophisticated, artistic, and witty.

The hotel is designed contextually to the local area as part of the gateway for London’s Culture Mile and the nearby new Museum of London.

Nested between the grade II listed Fitz Elwyn house (Step House) and City Temple, the proposal responds sympathetically to the existing heritage and townscape context.

The materials palette is derived from the local context of historic offices, warehouses, workshops, and market buildings characterised by masonry and regular patterns of fenestration.

The proposals include bringing the City Temple church back to life with enhancement works that are designed to ensure the long-term use of the Church and its significant contribution to the local area
