The 430,055sqft development is configured as three blocks across the site, creating a variety of public realm opportunities.  Each block has an architectural expression which responds to its context and the context of neighbouring developments in response to the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea master plan guidelines for the area.

The blocks are unified by a large bay module. The block facing Warwick Road has brick elevation to complete the elevations along this busy London street and is separated from the central courtyard block by a linear park accessible to the public.

It in turn faces into a semi private landscaped garden. The affordable housing faces railway frontage, and is detailed to complement the architectural quality of the entire scheme. Car parking and a high level of user amenities are located within two basement levels.

In addition to acting as architect for the development, Aukett Swanke led the internal planning and interior design of all front and back of house areas plus the full range of apartment sizes.

With the high quality of finishing throughout being commensurate with the market position of this development, the design is simple, elegant and timeless, focusing on the very best of British artisanal skills and supply lines from the local Borough and from throughout the UK.
