The design had to not only convey the strength of the Rensaissance brand identity, but be adaptable to applications in challenging geographic locations such as Almaty, Khazakstan and Nicosia.
We created a comprehensive design solution that carefully integrates architecture, technology, graphics and interior design to address each of the briefing requirements, including the client’s private art collection which in this location is distributed throughout the client hospitality areas.
The reality of a ‘one firm’ culture was achieved by creating a more open workspace promoting greater staff communication and collaboration, and a sense of ‘one-ness’. The idea of ‘excellence’ was reflected through the quality of the workplace design and attention to detail because psychologically, if people are in a quality space they feel more motivated to do well and to excel.
Our design for the client floor expresses the idea of ‘Entrepreneurship’ through the creation of a space that encourages visitors to ‘see new perspectives’ and to ‘cross thresholds’; two attributes of any entrepreneurial endeavour.
